f Mary Lou Hinshaw and Roland Lee Andrews were united in marriage on Friday, August 22, 1969, at Cedar Square Friends Meeting House by the Rev. Wayne Johnson. The bride is employed in the IBM department of the main office, and the groom is on the staff of the city engineering depart ment. They are making their home on Guyer Street in High Point, N. C. Foot injuries are second to hand injuries in industrial accidents. Ob jects dropped by persons while mov ing materials and trucks being pulled, pushed, or driven account for most of those foot injuries. Recently in our plants, a materials handler pulled a portable hosiery rack on his heel and an operator in the seaming department dropped a lot board which fell on her loe. A boarder fell as she was leav ing an elevator; the top of her foot was bruised in the fall. An ankle was sprained as another boarder fell while getting off the elevator. As another stepped off a wooden pallet, her foot was fractured because she stepped on the edge of the pallet. Still another foot injury came from when a power fork lift truck was started in motion while an employee was standing too close to the machine. It is obvious all of us should watch where we are walking to make sure the path is clear. A son, Richard Cecil, was born to Mr. and Mrs. Richard Bowling on July 21, 1969. Richard is employed in the knitting department of Plant 4; the baby's grandparents, Gladys and Paul Bowling, are also employed in Plant 4. A son, Wayne, Jr., was born to Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Stratton on July 1, 1969. Mrs. Stratton (Carolyn) is em ployed in the finishing department of Plant 7. A son, Glenn Daniel, was born to Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Buckner on the 14th of July, 1969. Both Mrs. Buckner (Peggie) and Glenn are employed at the Knit Sox Division of Adams-Millis.
