Newly-Born Now Eligible At Birth For Insurance Benefits On January 1, 1974, the Adams-Millis Cor poration group insurance policy was amended to reflect a change in the definition of dependent children. This change in definition provides medical and death benefits for newly-born babies, beginning on the date of birth. Previously, a child was not considered an eligible dependent for insurance purposes until he was fourteen days old.
