These were the senti ments expressed by Clara Lambeth upon her return from a trip to the Holy Land. While there, ®he visitedmany unusual 3-nd exciting places. She had an endless list of things she saw and did--which included riding a camel. All in all, it was a trip she's not likely ever, to forget. The folding department is glad to have Kat Albert, Vera Beane, Barbara Lane and Macy Heeson back at work after being out on sick leave. Wishes for a speedy recovery are also Sent out to Cornell Mabe. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Atkins recently returned from a week's stay at the beach. Upon returning, they were welcomed home with a new grandson. Dorothy Kiger and Margie Eaton recently feturned from a trip to Tennessee where they enjoyed seeing the Grand Ole Opry. Others taking Easter vacations were: Eliza beth May who went to Michigan and Indiana; Lois Hudnall who went to West Virginia to visit her family; Rose Brooker who went to Florida to t"isither father who has been ill; Kathy Marshall ’W'ho returned from a camping and fishing trip at hforehead; and Bertha McLain who went to Ala bama to visit with her family. Hickory plant Geneva Lafone recently visited her son. Air - hian First-Glass Kenneth Lafone, and family at Hort Meade, Maryland. She said she enjoyed playing with her eight-month-old granddaughter, iHindy. Hickory employees who vacationed in Florida Recently were Judy Bolick and Sue Sigmon. Sue '^'ent to see the Daytona 500 while there. Welcome back to Debbie Benge I The board- department really missed her. Pauline McGarter recently attended the Azalea Festival at Wilmington, N. C. She re ports that it was just beautiful. HDMOND PLANTS Vacation time is in full swing in the Okla homa plants. Gharles and Louise Tuttle went to Hawaii. Parker Winton visited relatives in Nebraska. Tony Winton and family visited Houston, Tex as. Tony is supervisor in the knitting depart ment. John Wile, of quality control visited relatives in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. John Gullett, warehouse supervisor, and Don Moore of Data Processing took a week of their vacation at home as they explained "to enjoy a much needed rest. " Welcome back from sick leave to Retha West, Sarah Guerin, and Mary Roberts. Yarn Division A-M TEXTURING--High Point Four boys in the service department are graduating in June--three from Trinity High School and one from Andrews High School in High Point. Levander Perkins is the Andrews grad uate; Gharles Riehs, James Welborn, and Billy Bishop are from Trinity Senior High. Riehs and Bishop joined other classmates on a senior trip to Washington, D. G. GailAgner and TerriKeever have been pro moted from coning to inspecting. Gail has taken the honor of replacing Sally Spivey on the Safety Committee. The month of March 1974 was the first month the texturing plant operated without an on-the-job accident. Employees were given free coffee and doughnuts for this achievement. Virginia Wagner and her husband took a trip to Orlando, Florida recently. The film "On Every Hand", devoted to pre vention of hand injuries, was shown to all em ployees in April. First-shift texturing operators at A-M Tex turing and Dyeing attained a record low in absen teeism of 1.45% during the week of Easter. Rinda Majors is sporting a new car--a birth day present from her husband. Shirley Bennett also has a new car--a gift from her husband. Best of all with the new is the new home of Lillie Queen. Rodney Rudd and Annie Davis are the new members of the Safety Committee from the first shift. It's nice to have Bernice Younger back at work after being out due to illness. Jeanne King is all smiles with her new en gagement ring. Joyce Barefoot is also back at work after absence due to illness.
