IS LANDMARK IN DOWNTOWN HIGH POINT Site of Many Important AMCO NEWS this month salutes Plant 07 of Adams- Millis Corporation, a land mark in downtown High Point and the site of mainy important developments in the production of ladies’ hosiery. Today, Plant #7 encompasses approximately 100,000 square feet of floor Developments in Hosiery space which includes the original plant built in 1928 on Pine Street and the addition at the comer of English Road and Pine, built in 1932. The story of Plant #7 parallels the development of hosiery as it is known today, with production in this plant extending from the era of the Production original silk stockings, through the rayon, nylon and stretch-nylon eras. Today finds 01 producing the latest styles in pantyhose, knee- highs, ankle-lengths and stockings.
