end. She reports having a real
good time.

son, and Pat visited her from
Winston-Salem last week-end.
Irene York took dinner at the
City Lake last week-end. She also
rode the big boat out there.

Minnie Snow’s sister was mar
ried at Minnie’s home on Friday,
Aug’ust 6.
Wilma Dennis has been attend
ing w)-estling regularly these
days, but that isn’t exciting
enough for Wilma. She has to stop
off at a nearby carnival and rids
hobby horses and eat cotton candy.
She also went on TV with the Cub
Scouts on the program “Sixgun
Playhouse.”
Our sympathy goes out to Ar
thur Royals whose mother died
August 8.

birthday, August 2. There were
six of Eddie’s friends present. Ice
cream and oake were the refresh

Edith Stanley now has a new
niece. A daughter, Gloria Gwynn,
was born July 27 to Edith’s broth
er and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs.
Jim Richard.
