are co-chairmen of the Red Cross
Blood Program in High Point:

roiled up their sleeves 518 times

citizens. This is another example
of what makes High Point a good
town. From your firm there were
18 donors and two rejects. Please
thank them for helping their
friends and neighbors.

since last August. The next visit
of the Bloodmobile will be at the
YMCA June 13-14. We are count

Nearly 105 million persons had
voluntary health insurance
against hospitalization expenses,
as of mid-1955, according to an
estimate by the Health Insurance
Council. Insurance companies
provide hospital expense protec
tion for more than half of the
total number of persons with this
form of protection.
There are nearly 7,000 hospi
tals in the nation, according to
the AHA. Of these, some 4,700
are “voluntary” or non govern
mental hospitals.
