PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE— (Continued from Page One) nally, the maker of an excellent product developed an astonishing number of orders because he trade marked what he produced. And now, as in colonial days, the public is still quick to turn to products which are found superi or and which are identified by a special trade name or emblem. Of course that is why our own lines of garments are identiified by trade marks. Retailers relate to our salesmen countless instan ces of families who have bought our oldest brand. Anvil Brand, for four generations. Back in 1899 those original purchasers found our gaiments to their liking. Imagine how their decendants like Anvil Brand even more, with the added improvements and fea tures of these 57 years. It is something to think about as we perform any operation to day in connection with garments which are to bear the Anvil label, or Tractor, Dotty Kay, Tom Long or other brand names in out ex tensive lines. From original cut ting of cloth to final inspection and shipping we have done our best. And whatever ticket is at tached to whatever garment, the trade mark says to retailer and consumer alike in behalf of our entire organization: "This is our work of which we aie proud. If you find it good then come back for more of the same." May the excellence of our work always justify continuing public confidence. Cordially Yours.
