Junior, of Statesville, visited her over the Thanksgiving holidays . . . Agnes Harrington and hus band, attended a football game at Hillsville recently. William Wright seems to have gotten a raise. Have you noticed he’s driving a different car? Kathleen Hackler had as a Saturday guest, Margaret Horn- burger. They went shopping in Galax . . . Frankie Phipps was honored with a stork shower be fore taking her leave of absence. She received many beautiful gifts. Everyone seems to be excited over the prospect of starting bowl ing soon . . . hope everything turns out fine. Sorry that Elizabeth Phipps and Phyllis Ray are leaving us at Christmas. We wish them the best of luck. Also Rose Anderson, who is getting a leave of ab sence. . We take this opportunity to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happpy New Year. Mary Alston and Ruth Torrence went hunting Thanksgiving. Said it was too hot 1 ANTOINE’S BEAUTY SHOP? - Hardly, but Grayson Ward does seem to be giving iust the right touch to the gorgeous tou pee that he so graciously supplied Traffic Manager Paul Fry with recently. The toupee gift was made after Mr. I rye had thoughtfully supplied Grayson with a set of lovely false teeth. for the rabbits to run but they did get one rabbit and one crow. Hope the next time Hazel Adam goes to the dentist she will have the right tooth pulled. Here’s hoping everyone will have a very Merry Christmas!
