Manning, a Baltimore, Maryland, senior who recently topped the CIAA in individual s^coring, tallied 40 points against the Broncos. Manning Tops CIAA Scoring List NCC’s Ted Manning, is cur rently leading the scoring list in the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association with an average of 25.5 points per game for 13 outings. The 6-4 sharpishooting Balti more, Md., native and graduate of that city’s Carver High School, has made 140 field goals and been successful with 52 out of 76 free throw attempts for a total of 332 points. Mannings a 205-pound junior, is also listed in two other cate gories in the most recent report from the official CIAA statisti-> clan. He holds second place in single game scoring with 45 points, being topped only by Thomas Morris of St. Paul’s College with 50. Manning earn ed his 45 tallies by making 18 field goals and nine free throws In NCC’s 110-100 victory over Shaw University on December 12 in Raleigh.
