Mary Clyde left early to attend the board of di rectors’ meeting and U.K. to attend an advisory committee meeting as well as that of Physical Therapy School Directors. Miss K. was elected (Chairman of the School Section of the Association to serve for the next two years. On July 1, Sue Flowers departed to Memorial Hospital, Chapel Hill, and on July 15, Mary Clyde Single ton left to take up her new duties as Physical Therapy Director at the Georgia Warm Springs Foundation. Miss IJarbara (’hristeiisen and Dr. Robert Crouch will say “I do” Au gust 21. Barbara is on the staff on Welch Ward. Dr. Crouch is assistant resident in Urology. Miss Aileeii Ledford has returned from a delightful vacation in New York and New Jersey. ALiss Jennet Wilson, clinical in structor in Obstetrics, returned to the city July 25 after attending a throe week work conference at Columbia University on “The Instructional Process in Maternity Nursing.” Mr. and Mrs. Frank (’hamberlain, !)23 Lambeth Circle, announce the birth of a son June 27. Dr. and Mrs. Thomas (Jorsuch, 4 Alastair Apartments, have a fine boy born July 13. Dr. Gorsuch is senior assistant resident in Neurology. With the marriage of Doris Hen drix to Phil Branch there is one less eligible female in the business office.
