Miss Judy Vann, former secretary in Dr. Davison’s office, and Pat Kenan, medical student, will be mar ried in Abingdon, Va. on August 16. When they return to Durham, Judy w’ill be secretary to Dr. Ralph Ar nold. X-Ray We welcome Dr. Harry McGee from University City, Mo., now work ing at the Veteran’s Hospital, Dr. Elliott Shull Jr. from Collingswood, N. J., and Dr. James Proffitt from Richmond, who started their resi dency here at Duke this July. Barbara Howell, one of our secre taries, is also sporting a new red and white Chevy. Barbara and her family had a week’s vacation at Minnisot. Betsy Scott enjoyed a vacation at home. Dot Howell spent her vaca tion in Wilmington. Mrs. Barbara Canady took in the sights while vaca tioning in Williamsburg, Va. Dr. Selby Coffman and family have just returned from vacation in North On tario, Canada. Dr. W. H. Shuford is vacationing in Orlando, Fla. Curtis May passed his pre-induc tion examination for the Army. We welcome Harriett Hackett to the X-Ray Department, as a Staff Technician. She w^as a former stu dent technician here. We are enjoying very much a visit with Dr. Charles Douglas of Scotland who will stay with us for about three months.
