Page 8 Duke Hospital, InterGom One of our 1958 graduates, Carol Ann Jones, from Washington, D. C., has joined our staff. She received her A.B. degree from UNO and substi tuted for six weeks at Memorial Hos pital before joining us. Nursing School New secretary to the Dean is Mrs. ilarion Moore. Betli Paschall joined the faculty in November, 1958; Carol Brady and Jo Ann Brown in January; and Mary Sue Hayes on March 2. Record Library Welcome to Rose Ilobgood who has joined our filing staff. We hope to see both “New Faces and Old” at the Conference on Medi cal Records to be held April 27-30. The faculty for the Conference in cludes Duke Medical Center staff members, faculty from Duke Univer sity, Memorial Hospital, Watts Hos pital, Buffalo General Hospital and the USPHS. Psychiatry Dr. Frederick R. Iline has been ap pointed head of the Inpatient Sei'v- ices on Meyer and Cabell. Dr. and Mrs. Hine and son, Fritz, live at 2317 Prince Street. Mrs. Elma Medley, Mrs. Barbara Hall, Mrs. Felice Katkin and Jane Stainback are new secretaries. Our new receptionist is June Perry. Surgical P.D.C. Mrs. Don Keller (Susie) resigned as Compensation and Liability Officer March 6. Surgery Emily Raulston is a new secretary in the Eye Department. She is fi'om Knoxville, Tennessee. Mrs. Edna Burrage is now working as secretary in Dr. Pickrell’s ofifice. Mrs. Mary Woods is replacing Lucy Harms, secretary to Dr. Gardner, and Lucy will take the place of Mrs. Patricia Kirkland, secretary to Dr. Hart. OUTSTANDING EMPLOYEE (Continued from page 2) Department. After two years on jobs elsewhere, she returned to the liospital in 1948 and has been employed in the Physical Therapy Department since that time. She and her husband have no children. During 1959 a total of five persons will be selected as “Outstanding Em ployee of the Month.” At the end of the year the qualifications of these five employees will be reviewed and the “Outstanding Employee of the Year” will be selected and an nounced.
