A Newsletter Is Only as Good as Its Contributors When the InterCom was first printed in February 1954, Duke Hospital had only 1,443 employees, and the mailing list for InterCom was small. Today, records reveal 1,838 employees, and our publication is distributed to 2,000 readers. This growth in the size of Duke Hospital and in the number of readers of its newsletter means that the InterCom Committee depends more than ever on its reporters for news items. Wlien reporting breaks down com munications lag. We want to thank those reporters who have contributed to the Inter com and to encourage others to participate in this communications attempt.
