Dear Editor, We would like to know more about the
tree pictured in the last issue. All we know about it
is that it loses all its branches and leaves in the
winter, is bl-laterally symetrical, and has flourished
in its present location for the past 3 summers...
Connie Jenkins, Dept, of Urology.
Dear Connie, With a little digging we found that your
tree is not a tree, but a weedy, Chinese tree called
Paulownia tomentosa. It was named after the Dutch prin

Swedish Botanist and student of Linnaeus...E.R.S.
