Medical Business Office Donald M. Cheek, assistant business officer of the hospital since November of 1967, has been named to replace Charles D. Herring as hospital business officer. Mr. Herring resigned in March to be come business manager of Memorial Mission Hospital in Asheville. Mr, Cheek, whose wife is a member of the nursing staff here, was formerty with the B. C. Remedy Company. They are the parents of two sons. New assistant business officer is Bru ce Gebhardt, formerly an administrative assistant with nursing service. Mr. Gebhardt, who has been at Duke for about a year, is married and the father of one daughter. and Surgical PDC's joined together and held a party in her honor. She was pre sented a silver tray.
