5 Faculty Changes Made Five changes in faculty at the Medical Center have been announced by Duice Provost Marcus E. Hobbs. They came in the fields of physiology, pathology, radiology, experimental medi cine, and anatomy. Dr. Ben Zion Ginzburg of Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel, was a- ppointed visiting professor of physiology. He will teach at Duke through October, 1970. Ginzburg, a native of Jerusalem, re ceived both his master's and Ph. D. de grees in plant physiology from Hebrew University in 1954 and 1959, respect ively. He has done postdoctoral research at Edinburgh University and at Harvard Medical School. He was named to the faculty of Hebrew University in 1963 and was appointed senior lecturer in 1966. Promoted to associate professor of pathology was Dr. Peter M. Burlcholder, an assistant professor since 1965. Burkholder, a native of Cambridge, Mass., earned a B. S. degree in zoology from Yale University and his M. D. from Cornell University School of Medicine. He was formerly an assistant professor in pathology at Cornell. Dr. Hewlette C. Connell, an associate in the Department of Radiology, was promoted to assistant professor. Connell came to Duke in 1964 for specialty training and was named an associate in radiology in 1968. He is a graduate of Mercer College in Macon, Ga., and received his M. D. degree from the Medical College of Georgia. Named assistant professor of experi mental medicine was Dr. Howard L. Elford, who comes to Duke from a post as assistant professor of biological chemistry at the University of Michigan. A native of Chicago, Elford earned his B. S. degree in chemistry from the Uni versity of Illinois in 1958 and his Ph. D. in biochemistry from Cornell University in 1962. He has done postdoctoral work at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Dr. Kaye H. Kilburn, associate pro fessor of medicine since 1962, has been given the additional title of assistant professor of anatomy. Kilburn, originally from Logan, Utah, graduated from the University of Utah in 1951 and earned his M. D. from the School of Medicine there in 1954. He was formerly an instructor in medicine at Washington University in St. Louis.
