The call for basketball practice was issued Monday by Coach Corboy. There is a great number of candidates who have answered this call. Interest in basketball will take a spurt next week when the class games will be phiyed. These games between the classes are always interesting to the students and often give the Coach a chance to get a line on some new men. It is not certain what day the first game will be played. However, it is expected that the Junior-Senior game will be held Monday. Freshmen-Sopho- more Tuesday, and then on Wednesday the winners of these two games will meet. It is also understood that a faculty team will play the Seniors and perhaps the winner of the class championship. The classes have held meetings and elected the following captains for their respective teams: Seniors—J. D. Barber; Juniors—Os car Atkinson ; Sophomores—Alph Brown; Freshmen—R. L. Hill. The teams have not yet been picked but it is probably every man with any ability at all will get a chance in the class contests.
