WE SERVE THE VERY BEST
The program given last Tuesday af
ternoon by members of the music class
was an excellent one. Tt was varied
and pleasing, consisting of selections
from foreign and American composers.
The following is the program w’hich was
rendered :
Piano Solo: “Scarf Dance.”
Chamindale—Arline Lindsay.
Piano Solo: “A Curious Story.’
Heller—Fred H. Prescott.
Vocal Solo: “Caro mio ben,”
Guiseppe—Della Gotten.
Piano Solo: “Dance 'of the Sprites,”
by Morrison—Annie June Hornaday.
Vocal Solo: “Called Away,” by Bas
set—Mary Hall Stryker.
Piano Solo: “Witching Time o’
Night,” by Marie Crosby—Marie Nobles.
Violin Solo: “To Spring,” by Grieg—
\Ilie Malone. -
Piano Solo: “Romance,” by Saint
Saeu—May Lowry.
Piano Duet: “Fanfare,” by Bohom—
Arline Lindsay and Ruth Von Cannon.
Vocal Solo: “Dreaming Time,” by
Lily Strickland—Marion Lee Newman.
Piano Solo: “Hungarian Dance,”
(No. O') by Brahms—Hennie Malone.
Perhaps the best number of the pi'o-
grain was the violin solo, by Miss Allie
Malone, accompanied by her sister, Miss
Hennie Malone. Each number, however,
was splendid: and gave evidence not only
of careful instruction on the part of the
teachers, but of true musical ability on
the part of tlie student.

"You’re drunk.” cried Mike to his partner.
“Oi’m not. You’re mistaken,” said Pat.
“Begorry. and if I was sober.
You couldn't be talkin' like that.”
“Bejabbers, if you were sure sober,”
Said Mike, flashing old Irish spunk,
“Ye would then have the sense, ye poor
lubber,
To know that you sure are drunk.”
Stude: “Pardon me, sir, are you a
prof in the math department?”
Goof: “No, I only swore off on hair
cuts until the Memorial Building is
erected.’”
