As class president, intercollegiate and class debater, and as a student, Mr. Hook has won, the respect of those who elect ed him to this impo’rtant office. The class is glad to welcome into its ranks several new members. It feels sure that two very successful years of college life lie ahead. As is customary, there was no applause from the audience, but any one ac quainted with audiences here at Elon knows that approval was ojie Imudred per cent strong. The various heads of the organiza tions, incorporated into the religious activities organization, were then in troduced, and had a few words to gay respecting their departjnents, as fol lows: Alma Sinith, Y.
