M. G. Wicker—“New Buildings o-f X. C. C. W.” Debate—Resolved, That this house is in favor of the recent decision of the Supreme Court in regard to prohibition officers searching a private home. Affirmative—H. S. Shepherd and S. D. Woodie. Negative—R. S. Crawford. The decision favored the affirmative. The following awards were made: Best on the affirmative, H. S. If so he should have been at the new Methodist church site at Newport News, Va., last Tuesday. Under the leadership of Prof. H. Bab cock a hefty group of college men and preachers donned overalls and hobnails and began excavating the earth over which their Sunday school room is to be built. Night found them deep in the earth. Evidently the professor is a popular teacher. He is requiring more room, due to the congregation caused by the rapid increase of his student congrega tion.
