It was between Elwood Smith (160 lbs.) and Frosh Brook (206 lbs.) In the first round Smith gave Brooks a blow to the ribs which cut his winrl. The second round each gave several hard blows to jawj head and ribs. The third round wa^ featured by Brooks hard swing to Smith’s side which gave Brooks the decision and the match. The meeting was brought to a climax by Blaylock playing a few very in teresting selections on his guitar and French harp, which thrilled the audi ence. The audience cheered and de manded an encore. The last number was the '‘Little Brown Jug,” this selection was accom panied by Lester Register giving us the latest steps in the “Charleston,” Blackbottom and Buckwing, all at the same time.
