He wanted to see the game as a scorekoeper so he’d make score sheets and keep the record of each I man s work. He knew sports and followed Elon athletic activities as close as the participants them selves. He was a rare type of “good ; student. He worked hard at his books, but still managed to keep well-read on practically all sub jects. On Wednesday, May 8, at Ell ington, funeral services for Bill were conducted. At Elon students lield a brief service as a tribute to their leader’s memory. Burial was made at Otto, N. Y. Other memorial services will be held during commencement. He is survived by his parents, two older brothers and an older sister.
