That’s Dr. BUI Rich exciting and I look forward to it. ” Rich added, however, that he regrets “not teaching, which I will not be doing for the next year, anyway.” In his new position. Rich will have a variety of responsibilities. These will include dealing with students’ academic problems and also working with department heads in the area of curriculum development. Rich is filling the position that was vacated last summer by Dr. Gerald Francis. Francis is now Dean of Academic Affairs. Rich joined the Elon College faculty in 1977 as Assistant Pro fessor of Religion. He was pro moted to Associate Professor in 1982 and Professor in 1986. He has served as the Director of the Study Abroad program and Director of General Studies for the past two years. Rich will con tinue to work with these two pro grams in his new position.
