Brief
Admission to some programs in tlie Fine Arts Theatre is by TICKET ONLY. Students, faculty,
and staff may pick up free tickets to these programs in the Fine Arts Building Office. Tickets
for the Missouri Repertory Theatre s production of The Glass Menagerie on October 6 are
now available.
Information for this page comes primarily from the listing published by the college’s Office
of Cultural Programs. To include your program in this listing, provide clearly typed informa
tion — program name, date, time and place and a brief description — to Becky Matthews at
the Fine Arts Center office by noon each Friday. The Cultural Programs listing accepts notices
only for programs open to the entire Elon community, but not regularly scheduled meetings
of campus organizations or committees.
If you wish to place your announcement directly to The Pendulum, it should follow the
same, typed format and be delivered by noon Friday to The Pendulum office, on the second
floor of The Gallery at the comer of Williamson and Lebanon streets.
Investment Seminar
The Martha and Spencer Love School of Business at Elon College,
in conjunction with Dean Witter Reynolds Brokerage Firm, is sponser-
ing an investment seminar September 28 and 29 from 7:30 to 9:00
p.m. in the Recital Hall of the Fine Arts Building on the college
campus.
The seminar is entitled “How to Make Your Money Work Harder
for You” and will be conducted by Kay Simpson, account executive
for Dean Witter Reynolds in Greensboro and Winston-Salem. The
seminar will cover strategies for tax savings, for increasing current
income, and for long-term growth.
The public is invited free of charge.

tober 8-12. “The Shadow Box”, a Pulitzer Prize winning play of
1977, concerns three patients who are residing in a hospice for the
terminally ill.
