Even though the Fightin’ Christians were defeated, they did pull off eight goals. Boca Raton scored 11. The women travel to Berry College for a game Saturday at 1 p.m. The men's soccer team kicks off its season Saturday at Berry College. The game begins at 3 p.m. After this game, the team will travel to Pfeiffer College on the 14th and then play at home against Catawba College. The volleyball* season is also here. The first volley will be on Sept. 8-9 at the Coastal Carolina (S.C.) tournament. The game begins at 11 a.m. The team will go from there to play Catawba and Carson-Newman on the 13th at Catawba. The sport of football gets rolling on Sept. 9 at hortie. 'The opponent is Savannah State College and the action begins at 2 p.m. The Fightin' Christians then travel lo Livingston University for another 2 p.m. game.
