Applications are available in the Registrar’s office. "The application must be filled out neatly, especially the name,” Albertson said. "I would hate to have the wrong name on someone’s diploma." After the application is filled out a fee of $35 is paid to the cashier. TTicn an appointment with Albertson is required to make sure all the requirements for graduation arc finished. "I encourage everybody to sign up now," Albertson said. "So far traffic through my office has been steady and nobody has had to wait more than a couple of days fw an appointment" Albertson said he will interview approximately 600-650 students. An increase of 50-75 students from last year. "I believe this could be the largest commencement," Albertson said. As of now, Albertson has met with 240 students and he asks that students come in as soon as possible to avoid the rush at the deadline. The Job Fair takes place Nov. 5 and 6 at the Sheraton Greensboro Hotel. There are certain criteria to follow in order to attend. A placement folder must be completed with ten copies of a resume included. Interviewing, resume writing and resume critique workshops will be held during the next few weeks. Any senior wishing to participate in the Job Fair must attend two workshops. A schedule can be picked up at the Carew Services Office. The registration deadline for Job Fair £^plications and resumes is Sept. 26. Karen Thompson, director of placement, said it is important to start looking for a job now. "It takes 6-9 months for a professional with experience to find a job," Thompson said. "Don’t wait to long to get started."
