acknowledged, "but they still need
more lines. It would be more
effective to have separate times for
each course to purchase their
books. That way there would be
410 hassle at all."
Willie Williams said he has
received favorable reviews so far.
"The only complaint is about an
occasional book not in stock," he
said.
Students are wondering if the
Elon College Book Gallery has
found its permanent new home.
"Books will be bought at the
church for the Spring and Fall
semesters to come, " Williams
said, "but Winter Term books are
likely to be bought at the old
location."

said his illness prompted his
action.
In an Aug. 14 article in the
Times-News, Poindexter said liis
new job is a final step in his
recovery from that illness.
"When I had my first
inverview here, I said, 'Lcl me icU

Poindexter said, according lo the
Times-News.
Poindexter's position as
assistant superintendent for
personnel makes him responsible
for hiring. He held a similar
position at Burlington schools
before joining Elon's staff in
1986.
