Thursday, Oct. 3, almost 2,600 papers were stolen from distribution racks. There has been speculation as to why they were stolen. However, no one really knows where they are or why they were taken. According to Dean of Student Affairs Ron Klepcyk, "It’s a continuing investigation and the papers have not been found." Murray Glenn, the managing editor of The Pendulum was with one of the distributors before the theft occurred. Glenn said that 2,600 papers are usually delivered to the different racks; 1,300 to Long Student Center and 1,300 to the Fine Arts Center. Glenn and the distributor said that they spotted someone near the Long Student Center distribution rack around 4:30 p.m. They continued to organize the papers despite the fact that a guy was standing there watching them.
