There are many groups involved in this month-long event. One of the primary focuses will be on the Honor Code and its visibility on campus. In the next four issues of The Pendulum, you will read actual cases of Honor Code violations that were accumulated throughout the past few years. Some facts in these cases were changed to protect the people involved. The examples will be presented with a brief explanation of the situation followed by details of the punishment given by the school. We encourage every student to read and react to these events so that they don't happen again. The Honor Code is an important part of the Elon College experience; broader knowledge of the Honor Code will help students and faculty examine the problems dealing with academic dishonesty and hopefully prevent further Honor Code violations in the future.
