Ethos committee to sponsor
graduate school information fair

As part of the annual April
campaign on academic ethos, the
Academic Ethos Committee and
Career Services will co-sponsor a
Graduate School Information Fair
on Wednesday, April 28 from 5
p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Koury Center
Concourse.
All Elon students are invited
to attend the free event, which will
include information workshops on
undergraduate preparation for
graduate school, the graduate school
application process, and what itβs
like to be a graduate student.
Also within the Koury Center
concourse graduate school repre
sentatives and students from promi
nent area graduate programs will
staff information booths.
Workshop topics expected to
be covered include: standardized
tests, how and where to find infor
mation, the difference between
masters and doctoral studies, GPA
and expectations, reference letters,
work load, grad student life, differ
ence in learning, financing and other
costs, expectations, and acceptance
rate among others.
The fair will be divided so
that students who wish to see some
need not stay the entire three hours.
Additionally, Elon College
alumni and current graduate stu
dents from many area programs will
be on hand to field questions and
provide advice as well as partici
pate in a general panel discussion.

Brown and William Stott, and Steve
Swint, assistant director of Career
Services and Bob Omdorff, direc
tor of Career Services.
