This performance to the music of Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller and Duke Ellington is a high-energy program that varies from slow swing to straight jitterbug. Admission by ticket only; $12 or Elon I.D. Thursday, February 24 Jerry and Tammy Sullivan McCrary Theatre, 7:30 p.m. This extraordinary father-daughter gospel team has performed uplifting music in small Southern churches and the Grand Ole Opry. Visit with other Elon residents every Tuesday at 9:50 a.m. infront of Alamance. Wednesday Feb. 16 was International Resi dence Hall Student Staff Recognition Day. There is a special group of 80+ students that work side by side every day with the residents of this campus. We call them Communit yDevelopment Coordinators (CDC's), Head Residents (HR's), Office Workers (OW's) and Housing Assistants (HA's). No matter what their title, they all represent one very important truth fro the Residence Life Department: THEY ARE THE SOLID FOUN DATION UPON WHICH OUR DEPARTMENT STANDS. WE WOULD NOT BE AS STRONG OR FIRMLY GROUNDED WITHOUT THEIR DEDICATION. So, even though this special day has passed, please, when you see a student staff member- Thank them for all the big, small and unsung task they perform each and everyday. Outdoors- Outdoors has planned a day hike at Hanging Rock State park February 26. It only costs $7 and includes transportation and trail guide.
