New York seems to be a popular place for break. “I can’t wait to get to the big city,” said junior Tim Archibald. Archibald will be in New York videotaping the Elon Phoenix football team as they take on the Hofstra Flying Dutchmen. For students who haven’t made plans to travel yet, Elon Outdoors is sponsoring a rock climbing trip to West Virginia. Laser tag sponsored by SUB Jenna Mintern The Pendulum Before the fun of Midnight Madness, SUB offeredElon students the sporty enjoyment of a laser tag game. According to Tiffany Avery, the Director of Public Relations for SUB, approximately 120 students played Laser Tag. The event was held at the intra mural fields from 7 until 10:15 on Friday night. “We had fewer students than in previous years due to the last minute change of location,” Avery said. “We provide the event as some thing fun to do for the students on the weekend and as something to do before Midnight Madness.” The equipment for the game wasprovidedforby theSmith Agency, who has helped SUB provide the fun for at least the past three years. “People really have fun. Some people show up year after year and tell us they really enjoyed it. They really like playing with [the laser] guns,” she said. Interested in writing for The Pendulum?
