Page 24 Molly Wheeler, Sara Mullan and Brandon Trill’s alligator won the snow sculpture contest, sponsored by the Office of Student Activities. The event was held outside of Moseley Center Jan. 4. Jan. 23, 2002 A group of students gathered in front of Koury Center Jan. 3 to play football. Classes were cancelled and many students spent the day playing in the snow around campus. HiS- m a The first week of January, the Piedmont area of North Carolina received eight to 12 inches of snow. Elon students spent the day playing in the snow, as the first day of classes were cancelled - Braving the elements, Naomi Warren and Amanda Royce-Tolland made their way through the snow to Moseley Center to get some food. Peter Donohoe and Mary Britt Burke covered Melissa Villemarette with snow during a snow fight outside of their dorm rooms in Jordan Center.
