Media Services offers wide selection of materials to students
Laura Cunningham
Reporter '
Lately, class presentation after
class presentation has been forc
ing me into a
comatose
state of sleep.
Why do stu
dents spend
hours - of
work on their
projects and presentations to pro
duce something mediocre? Do
you want to sit through a boring
PowerPoint or poster presentation
— or even worse — be the presen
ter? No? To spice up your next
presentation, take advantage of
Elon’s technological resources.
■ Media Services, located in
Belk 101 (next to the circulation
desk), can help you master those
tough projects and presentations
by turning bits and pieces of work
into an “A” piece. The student
workers provide technology sup
port to faculty and students to aid
in creating technological
approaches and solutions for
teaching and learning. Basically,
they help make presentations
exciting and worthwhile. Bring an
idea, some information and mate
rials and consult a Media
Services’ employee.
Within 48
hours, a
quality proj
ect will be
completed.
Their pro
duction serv
ices range from large postere to
transparencies to slides to DVD
and CD duplication. Presentation
equipment such as projectors, lap
tops and much more can also be
borrowed for your presentation.
So, before you turn in that
plain text and basic clip art
PowerPoint presentation or use
transparencies and black and
white copies, head over to Media
Services and spice up your hard
work. Make your work look like it
took hours and earn that “A” you
deserve. For information on
Media Services call ext. 6598.
