More than 8,100 students, faculty, staff and alumni gathered that afternoon to celebrate Homecoming. After tailgating all afternoon, Elon fans poured into the stadium to watch the football team win their game 34-19 and catch the exciting half-time activities. The nominees from Alpha Omicron Pi were announced as Homecoming King and Queen. At half-time, the marching band also performed and winners were announced for the different Stayin’ Alive in 2005 contests. The Alumni class of 1955 cele brated their 50th class reunion and had the most alumni attendees at the game. After the football game.
