removal from a class if the harassment is related to a particular course.
Bullying has been a major issue in news headlines recently because of an extreme bullying case in
Massachusetts. Fifteen-year-old Phoebe Price committed suicide on Jan. 14. Nine of her classmates are now
facing criminal charges for bullying her.
According to the National Institute for Mental Health, suicide is the third leading cause of death for young people
ages 15 to 24.
