OCRIME REPORT
Oct. 28
OLSON AVENUE, ELON
Fraud, impersonation
On Oct. 28 at 4:10 p.m., aTown
of Elon Police officer spoke with a
woman by telephone that wanted
to file a report in reference to her
identity being stolen and used to
apply for a credit card. An inves
tigation will be conducted in ref
erence to a possible identity theft.

EAST HAGGARD
AVENUE, ELON
Burgiary - non-forced entry
On Oct. 25 at 3:47 a.m., a wom
an came to the Town of Elon Po
lice Department to report a break
ing and entering that had already
occurred. The woman stated that
her phone, credit cards, driver's
license, cash and a bag of pre
scription medication were taken
from her residence on E. Haggard
Avenue, after she had been trans
ported to the hospital becuase of
a medical emergency.

BURLINGTON
Car break-ins
The Burlington Police Depart
ment has had a series of reported
car break-ins down the Interstate
1-40 corridor, specifically at exits
140 and 141. These crimes oc
curred Oct. 28, 29, 30 during the
night. The suspect(s) are target
ing vehicles at hotels/motels along
the corridor of the interstate, and
entering cars that are both locked
and unlocked. Anyone with infor
