The Upperclassmen Chapel Comiaittee, headed hy Dr. Perris E. Reynolds,

The Chapel Committee v/ould appreciate any suggestions concerning
individual speakers or groups who would like to conduct chapel services.
Dance Committee
Dance CoEunittoe Chairman, Wally Sawyer, is pleased with the results
of’ the Homecoming Dance, and he feels that his committee and all w^ho
helped to decorate^ did a"bang-up job".
Christmas—this means another opening night for the Dance Committee.
The group is working with the Entertainment Committee, headed by Ken Broda,
for a holiday dance success. "The Fabulous Five" will provide the music.
Details concerning the Christmas Dance will be reported later.
The Dance Committee is also thinking about plans for the Hid-V/inters
Dance which will be a sock-hop this year.
The Handbook Revisions Committeo
The Handbook Committee has had three meetings this semester. Thus far,
most of the committee work has been concerned with organizational planning.
The coimnitteo hopes to include in the '63-'64 handbook a complete index
and possibly some pictures and sketches. It is also planned that the colors
on the.cover be changed to gold lettering on maroon. The handbook will be
called TH ACORN.
The Student Affairs Committee
This com:niittce hos not met since October. However, a sub-committee is
nov'f working on the school calendar and is investigating the possibilities
of extending the exam period.
The i^ublicity Conmiittee
The new bulletin boards which were obtained by this committee will be
placed in the dorms and the SG office as the school is planning to purchase
a lErge bulletin board for the student union.
