Look Out!! don't run over the manager or assistant manager as he scurries around to be sure all the workers' hats are on straight. After successfully avoiding them, proceed to your seat which has catsup spilled it, push away the glasses, saucers, etc., sit down, and by all means enjoy your dinner. The Food Committee has had two meeting this year. It meets once a month ^^rith Mr. Wells and Mr. Hassell, the advisor. The Committee members are: Tom Corbitt, Cecil Gwaltney, Pam Johnson, Pat Rittle, Gay Yule and Bert Morrison, chairman. , , ... At the first meeting, the Committee discussed, along v/ith suggestions and improvements of the food, the new schedule for breakfast. This includes the hot and cold lines from 7:00-7:30 and the continental breakfast from 8:00-8:30. . One prevalent problem is the dirty silverware. Mr. Wells is tryin^^ new washing agents to remedy this problem, but has yet to find a really effective one. ,, , . . „ /mother problem seen by the Committee is the smoking in the dining hall. We ask that you please observe the'no-smoking signs. For the Committee to properly represent the student body, we wish that you would keep these members in mind and give them your suggestions to be brought up at the meetings. Q Congratulations to the Elon Fighting Christians Pootb2.ll team which took the Conference Champ ionship along with Catawba this year. The school is proud of this outstanding 1963 team. Praises go to THE ELON PLAYERS for the fine and artistic presentation of Miller's,"Death of A Salesman . The play, which was-directed by Mr. Sandy Moffett, drew capacity crowds every night it was given and was a real showing of talent, interes , creativity on the campus. The Elon College Choir gave an in spiring and beautiful presentation of "The Messiah" this year. The choral program is an annual event campus.
