John Nicks:
The job of S.G.A. Treasurer is a very iraportant one, and I feel that
many students do not Jcnow just what this job entails.
I would like to acquaint each and every student with this job to the best
of my ability. I know that it is a requirement that a monthly report be
published, however, it has been presented only to students in the Senate.
I know that each individual student would like to know how their money
is spent. I will present this report in a form that everyone will be able
to understand. In the past there }ias been a certain amount of money list
ed as miscellaneous. There have been several queries as to why these
miscellaneous expenditures have not been itemized. This I will do.
/'-s far as my qualifications are concerned, I am an accounting major and
I feel that I will be able to handle this job, I have also had summer
jobo which required bookkeeping and the handling of financial statements.
I feel that with these qualifications I will be able to work hand in
hand v/ith the other officers of the Student Government Association in
making it a more efficient organization.
