RECEPTION - Chancellor and Mrs. Charles Lyons, center, chat with

TV GUEST - Dr. Charles ‘‘A” Lyons, Jr., Chancellor of Fayetteville State
University, was a recent guest on the news program FOCUS. The show was
aired over TV Station WGHP-TV High Point, N.C. and was hosted by
News Director Fred Blackman, center, and A1 Walick, news writer.

CHANCELLOR vs. THE CHAMP -- Fayetteville State University
Chancellor, Dr. Charles “A” Lyons, Jr., seems to be landing a solidblow to
the heavyweight champion “Smoking” Joe Frazier. Luckily, the Champ
blocked the blow and there was no damage. Frazier was in Fayetteville for a
Sickle Cell Anemia Benefit Dance and Dinner held at the Downtowner Inn
at Fayetteville. Frazier predicted that he would not lose his crown in the
rematch with Ali.
