Sigma NEED NEWS NOSES What actually makes up a newspaper? Well, there’s paper and ink and a printing press and a good delivery system for the final product. But how about before it gets printed? There’s where we have to have people — people like you, who make the news, report the news, and read the news. K you’d like to become a reporter, get in touch with the editor. Together, we can make our newspaper — tops! JAMES EARL BRITT Students beware! There is a new Security Officer on campus, James Earl Britt. His main job deals with the safety of Wayne Community students and their property. Britt’s background consists of two months training at Military Police School in Fort Gordon, Georgia. After which he went to California for a time and then on to Vietnam. There he worked with the 630th M.P. Cpmpany, Convoy Escort, Drug Program, and C.I.D. If students have any problems or suggestions concerning parking or safety in general they should go by the Dean of Students office and talk to Jim Britt. He is interested in working with the students and making changes for their benefit! Tau Sigma strikes again — with blood. The fraternity brothers pledged 15 pints of blood a^ the Red Cross Blood Drive held in the student union. Winter Rush was held the week of December 8. The brothers are looking forward to the new pledges and their pledge period. Sigma Tau is looking toward the future by discussing possible service projects and making plans for the Azalea festival this spring.
