Turley Memorial By De Elliott On February 21. 1989. the "Campus Voice" lost one of its own. John Reaves, soorts editor, was taken from us when he was killed in an auto accident. John was much loved, respected, and admired by those who knew him. An active sports enthusiast and basketball player, as well as sports editor for this newspaper, John was known around the campus as a friendly person, always willing to lend a hand to those in need. Death is always tragic, but It is even more so when the life lost is a young life, full of hopes and potential: hopes that will never be realized, potential that will never be fulfilled. John was very much loved for the wonderful person he was. He is sorely missed now that he is Qone. center against Coastal Carolina.
