NOV. 14,1990 - WCC CAMPUS VOICE 13 Group sponsors festival By: K. McLeod From Noyember 30 through December 2nd, Home HealtH fit Hospice Care Inc. will be •fining WCC's Atrium with 1? Christmas trees, each decorated wi th a di-f-ferent Christmas theme, according to Michelle Fox, Director o-f Provider Relations at Home Health. Peter Barcus, Director o-f Hospice, and Fox have planned the event with the aid of Linwood Anderson, Uice President o-f Educa tional Services at WCC, Student clubs will sell tickets this month at $2 a t i cket. The main attraction will be a 10-and-one-hal f -foot tree to honor loved ones who have died this past year or who are still ali ve. The tree will be decor ated with white doves, white lights, and silver beads. Re-freshments will be -free. Entertainment will include Santa Claus with his elves, Melissa Coots, ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ KJl SIT THE WRITING CENTER Crystal Morgan, Major Third, the St. Luke's Handbell Choir, the Third Century Singers, Mike Nault, pianist; the Artistic Dance Academy, the Skylarks, and The Buck Swamp Kicking Cloggers. Fox said, "Thanks to Wayne Community College -for o-f-fering the use o-f the Atrium -for the Festival." "This is shaping up to be one o-f Wayne County's biggest and most celebrated Christmas events o-f the season.“ "The commun i ty has already given tremendous response in support and sponsorship of this event." Barcus stated,"! am very appreciative of Wayne Community College, its students, and the community for helping to make i t possible for hospice to prov i de spec i ali zed services and support for the terminally ill people in our community." Hospice is a non-profit organization that cares for the terminally ill and the i r fami lies. Home Health needs and will greatly appreciate volunteer help setting up and taking tickets at the door.
