Volleyball season a success

The WCC 'v'olleyball Team,
in its second year, has an
even record in the Eastern
Coastal Community College
Association Conference
<ECCCAC) with 4 wins and 4
losses.

piayers.
The team consists of

Naderman, Angie Parks,
Stacy Payne, Richard
Paynter, James Roberts,
Julie Suggs, Mike Suggs,
*Jeronica (Roni) Williams,
and Tony Woodal1.
Martin Evans has served
as manager and scorekeeper.
Uayne at Carttret
Wayne beat Carteret on
home turf on October 9,
1990, where Wayne won the
first round 16-14.
Carteret won the second
14-16, but Wayne won the
game with the third win,
15-12.
Uayne routs Lenoir
Wayne won the day by
defeating Lenoir 15-8 in
the first round and 15-6
in the second.
Uayne versus
Coastal Carolina
Wayne lost on October
10, 1990 to Coastal
Carolina 7-15 and in the
first round and in the
second 4-15.
Uayne squeezes out
Lenoir
WCC had a second victory
against Lenoir 15-4 in the
first round, 8-15 in the
second, and 15-8 in the
1 ast.
Sandhills crushes Uayne
The Bisons played their
first home game on October
24, losing 4-15 in the
first round, 7-15 in the
second round.
Pi tt defeats Uayne
During the second match
of the day Pitt had the
victory with 15-17 in the
first round and 6-15 in the
second round.

Games cancelled
Home games scheduled for
October 26, 1990 against
Carteret and Sandhills were
cancelled because the field
was flooded.
Uayne Inches out Bladen
WCC at Bladen on October
29, 1990 the game began
with a win by Bladen 3-15.
UCC was victorious in
the second and third rounds
15-2, 15-5.
Uayne against Cape Fear
In the second game at
Bladen Wayne lost against
Cape Fear 5-15 in the first
round.
The B i sons won i n the
second round 15-5, and Cape
Fear won the final game 4-
15.
