Student American Dental Hygienists’ Association The main goal of this club is to promote and sustain the art and dental hygiene. It also represents and safeguards the interests of the members of the dental hygiene profession and contributes toward the improvement of the health of the public. Officers are President Debbie Comer; Vice- president, Wendy Royster; Secretary, Tony Moore; and Treasurer, Christy Kearney. International Students’ Club The object of the International Students’ Club is to exchange cultures, learn about other cultures, and create friendships. Activities include monthly meetings during which members introduce a new country. They share the geography, customs, dress, and food of the country. Countries presented this year include Ecuador, Greece, and Cuba. The club has sold bookmarks as a fundraiser. It helps new immigrants with translations and with settling in a new country. Officers include Kwai Chun Chan, president from Hong Kong; Santiago Ortega, vice- president, from Ecuador; Gerardo Guifarro, vice- president, from Honduras; Marilou Barba, treasurer, from Philippines; and Man Yuk Chan, secretary, from Hong Kong.
