be held in May. The offices
which will be open for election
are: President, Vice President,
Secretary, and Treasurer of the
Student Government Associa
tion; President, Vice President,
Secretary, and Treasurer of the
Sophomore class; and the four
sophomore senate positions.
To be eligible to run, a stu
dent must have a 2.25 quality
average, to be scholastically
ranked as a sophomore when
he takes office, and carry a
minimum of 14 quarter hours.
The three groups are: (1)
Administrative, headed by Jesse
Miles and assisted by Barbara
Lankford, (2) Judicial, headed
by Jeff Shoemaker and Reggie
Weisner and assisted by Danny
Oakley, and (3) Legislative,
headed by Ken Greene who is
assisted by Jackie Johnson and
Mary Andrews.
Other students working under
these groups are Terry Koontz,
Wanda Barlow, Peggy Owens,
Sandra Russell, Judy Ferguson,
Cozzie Watkins, Steve Haynes,
Lee Dugger, Tim Collins, Jack
Hunter, Bymal Wade, Deannie
Riddle, Barbara Bledsoe, Grant
Souther, Charles Mitchell, Janet
Lyon, and Linda Colvard.
Anyone who has a suggestion
for revision should contact one
of these members. The consti
tution should be ready for rati
fication by the middle of May,
when new Student Government
officers will be elested.

200 TO GRADUATE

That day is finally here! For
those sophomores who thought
it would never arrive—^Gradu
ation Day is approaching. On
May 21, there will be 200 young
men and women getting their
degrees.
The time is 5:00 p.m. in front
of the Hayes Building. There
will be no speaker because of
the length of the ceremony; in
stead, our W.C.C. Choral Group
will sing two songs. One of
these wil be “Ode to Joy” by
Beethoven.
Congratulations to the fresh
men who have been selected to
become marshals for the 1971
Graduation Ceremony. These
names will be revealed later.
