SGA News
The Student Government As
sociation has thirty members
including the clubs here at WCC.
With this big of a turn out the
SGA is doing more because we
have more members. The SGA
had a variety of different people
with different interests. We have
representatives from the Math
Club, Yearbook, Newspaper, Ye
Hosts, Phi Beta Lambda, Ebony
and Circle K. Some of the
members of SGA will be attending
a convention in Charlotte, N.C.
Oct. 31, Nov. 1, 2, and 3. We
hope that we will be able to find
out what other Community
Colleges are doing in their schools
so that we might get some new
ideas for the WCC student body.
We would also like to hear what
the students here would like to see
done on our campus. The activity
fee that each student pays goes
into the SGA budget. The
students have a voice in how the
money is spent if they speak up
WCC COUGAR
and say what they want to do.
There is an SGA suggestion box
outside of Student Services; we
would like to hear from you. We
hold our meetings every Tuesday
at 12:30. The meetings are open to
anyone that would like to attend,
we hope that you will take the
time to stop by and let us hear
your ideas.
