THE VOICE OF WILKES COMMUNITY COLLEGE VOLUME 11 - NO. 6 WILKESBORO, NORTH CAROLINA MAY 21, 1982 Fifteenth Commencement May 27,1982 Graduates Our heartiest congratulations to you as you approach your Wilkes Community College Commence ment! We hope your studies with us may truly be the beginning of greater accomplishments in your lives. Graduation exercises will be held at 5:00 p.m., Thursday, May 27, in the College Gym in the Technical Arts Building. The graduating class will meet at 3:45 in the Gym for instructions for line-up and preview of gradua tion. Please come directly and promptly to the Gym when you arrive on campus, as we are planning a very tight schedule in order to conserve your time. If you will ask your family and friends to wait in the Commons or outdoors until we are finished in the gym, it will be appreciated. On May 20, we will be mailing to you a card with your line assignment number for the Commencement marching line. Please check for this card in your mail and place it in your wallet to bring with you for aid in our line-up procedure. This is a most important item in our planning for the best and most orderly line organization, and please give it your utmost attention. We would also like to call your attention to the mailer your family will receive from the Market South Photo Studios, since you are probably not familiar with this firm. They have done photographs previously for our graduation, and we have heard nothing but praise for their work and appreciation from families for having the opportun ity to get good photos of their graduates. Please be sure to check with the library and the business office to see that all financial obligations to the college have been settled. You may pick up your caps and gowns in the Bookstore any time after May 18 in order to have time to “press the wrinkles out” before May 27. 1982 Graduates ASSOCIATE IN ARTS Beverly Jean Adkins ^(Azeez Olaitan Abolarin Timothy Michael Almond Cynthia Elaine Beshears Sandra Peterson Blanz Roger Lynn Bradley Amy Suzanne Brewer Thomas Joseph Brooks Eric Lee Brown Neil Conner Brown Len Allen Broyhill Harold Dean Bullis, Jr. Sara Jane Call Larry Scott Campbell Michial Jerome Carlton Lillie Mae Choate Donna Faye Church Charles Reginald Colvard, Jr. Edward Paul Crowell Sandra C.
