The Wilkes Community College Book
store is a great place to brouse between
classes. The bookstore sales text
books, book bags, paper, pencils,
pens, sweatshirts, and all of the sup
plies that are required and recom
mended by the isntructors on campus.
The WCC Bookstore has all occasion
cards and a wide variety of gifts. Sea
sonal gifts are a popular item among
the students and faculty. The book
store carries gift items for Christmas,
Easter, Valentine, Thanksgiving, Hal
loween, and Birthdays. With the pur
chase of a gift, free gift wrapping is
included. They will make special
orders for anyone and no extra charge
is added. The bookstore offers
friendly service and it is a good place
to come in and buy candy or snack
food during the day. This quarter a
"dollar an inch” book sale is taking
place. Several old edition textbooks
and reference books are being sold for
one dollar per inch. Graduation ap
parel for students and faculty are
ordered and picked up in the book
store. You can also purchase gradua
tion invitations and order your class
ring. The Dental and Nursing pins are
also ordered for the students in the
bookstore. Books are bought back at
the end of each quarter for half the
price of the new book, and they
always try to give out candy or gum
during this event. The bookstore also
gives the students a term planner for
each quarter. The bookstore is very
service oriented and serves the stu
dents, faculty, and staff well.
